    Best place to cross border?

I plan on driving over from the island soon and doing Hwy.20 top part of the north Cascade loop and camping somewhere near Omak, not sure yet. Then heading back past Osoyoos the next day and spending another night somewhere before driving home via the "Duffy".
Would Sumas be the best place for me to cross the border? or would you go another route?
It would be during the week, not Friday and probably mid morning. Also can anyone recommend a good place to camp near Omak give or take an hour or so?
    Thanks in advance! RoscoeP

We used the crossing on 264th on the July long weekend and it was 15 minutes southbound and about 8 minutes delay northbound!!

    Under the radar. Hopefully.
    Honda. Still. Again.
There's some decent campgrounds in Oroville. Right on Osoyoos lake.
personally, I'd stay at the motel on Okanagon (note spelling) which is just south of Omak. A mere 35 minutes from the border. Motorcycle friendly, inexpensive and clean....there's a spiffy cafe right in the parking lot.
