So yeah, stupid me. I got off the bus this morning, and as the bus was just disappearing around the corner out of sight (where I couldn't read it's number), I realized my cell phone wasn't clipped to my belt like it was when I got on.
I waited for the bus to come back on his next trip, but no phone remained, and the driver says he didn't find one when he did his lost property check at the other end of his trip.
I called it once, it rang through to voicemail, nobody answered, so I called Rogers and had calls blocked. After a few meetings this morning I called them again and had the block on Incoming calls lifted, so I could call it and try to get through to whoever has it... but all i'm getting now is "the caller you have reached is unavailable", so whoever has it has turned it off, or they're underground somewhere.
When a Cell connects to the network, does it send it's serial number along with the SIM card info? ie. Could Rogers track the phone if someone just put their own SIM card in it and started using it?
