If you have ever wanted to experience riding on a track in a controlled environment and burn off the chicken strips, now is your chance. Due to all the hype over REVscene's drag racing, we really need some support out there. Show that you want a practice area to ride in and show up...
Westcoast SuperBike School provides a basic instructional session and then we have a serious amount of track time. You'll follow around the instructors and gradually increase your speed as your comfort level allows.
Bike prep is not necessary but taping up the lights is a good idea. The night will be broken into different speed groups: Street, Moto and Fast.
Location: Boundary Bay Airport. End of 80th Ave then follow the road to the left, through the chain link gates all the way around the hangers into the very back.
There will be 3 different group levels : ( coloured stickers on helmets will be used to identify )
SlOW : First time riders and streetbikes. No passing is allowed for the first 3 sessions out. After that passing will be allowed on the straight away only. First timers must get instruction and follow the lead riders around the track . They will gradually increase the pace as the night progresses. If your not comfortable with the pace talk to an instructor and we'll accomodate.
MEDIUM : Streetbikes and beginner track bikes, must have ridden at BB or done an ART school course. Passing is allowed on straight away and in the 2 large end corners. Safe passes only.
FAST : racers/ advanced street riders. If your in this group your probably very comfortable on a track and can pass anywhere as long as it's safe and clean.
zero tolerance: PLEASE REMEMBER to respect the posted speed limit and refrain from wheelies or any other hooligan behaviour anywhere near or within the compound. Let's set a good example and make a positive impression for the airport events. Do you want to be the one who gets us all banned?
No alcohol is allowed at the track. Even when the night is over and your packed up ready to leave and want to crack a cold one. Don't do it or bring anything to the track.
Time: 5:00 pm to 9 :00 pm
