69,699Km/h. give or take a km or 2 for speedo error.
What kind of question is this anyhow?
2 different friend's r6 do 270 (speedo indicated) Mind u thats not at sea level, might be different for you Vancover guys..
954 with no coat and big me on it did 278 speedo, and i think 262-265? GPS'ed (I didn't look at the gps every second) and i can't remember with a coat what it did, but it was slower
GSXR 1k, With Coat 290 (speedo), with t-shirt on, 299 plus (probley 305km?? somewhere around there, speedo doesnt hit 300, rpms were slowly going up)
With New 2 piece leather suit, I still hit 299 now. (plus lost some weight)
There you go, and of course this all on private property, closed off roads, and no traffic/cops
Havn't GPS'ed the new bike (GSXR 1k) to see how fast I am really going at that speed, too lazy to duct tape the thing to the handle bars.
Why does this post come up every year?.........wait a minute..why am I even replying to it?

Who gives a shit how fast you can ride?
281 its gone up since last time i posted
that was at sea level
i did 1,000,000 mph on my XR!
I win, im faster than all of you, and i did it in sandals too!
My wheel weights fell off and I went into a orbit around the moon once...long story.
Uh..Houston we have a problem.

Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Remember the phenomenon about time dialation......(how time slows down the faster you go ie. if you were to travel at the speed of light for 1 year and return, much more time than a year would have passed on earth).
The next time you get pulled over for speeding, say to the cst.... "I was trying to age slower"......its true!
If you were to go 300 kph for a few hours, the rest of us would age a few femtoseconds more than you.
the question is why everyone has to bastardize the thread ..just move on ..why do you feel the need to fuck up every thread that gets posted ..you guys should be more mature ..shit just move on if you think its stupid.. ....

FYI - My first year of riding I managed to have a somewhat bad accident on my F3 in which I was deemed not at fault in any way by ICBC and the cager 100% liable. I found out later on throughout the lawsuit that the lawyers on the other side and police frequent this site and search for information on driving/riding habits of people and can use that evidence to back up their case that perhaps you may not have been riding safely at the time based on you comments about this type of thing despite being not at fault for the accident itself.
Now that said, at the time I had a personal website where I had stated my fastest ever speed, obviously well above the speed limit (which demonstrates that I speed) and I discussed shoulder riding and lane splitting in great detail on this site (and still do) which also demonstrates that I don't ride within the law at all times. I still talk about that stuff though because my ticket for "passing on the right" received a few years back is enough evidence on that point any lawyer or police officer could want anyway, certainly better than any internet discussion. lol.
All that said, I'd advise against posting how fast you like to ride, it doesn't do any good in case the information pops up again when you may not want it to.

I went so fast once that my special wheel weights broke loose and my Elastic Helmet Rectifier (otherwise known as EHR) snapped. I was lucky I survived.
