So an associate was headed out to Banff for a conferance with 2 of his collegues. The guy is a rough and tough harley rider and looks the part. Of course he was wearing a beanie helmet, what kinda tough harley rider doesn't? Just after he crosses the BC/Alberta border the group gets pulled over and informed that Alberta helmet law is much stricter and, unlike in BC, an empty beer can strapped to your head would not suffice in AB. Mr. Harley rider is a little pissed but pays the fine, and has a tow truck driver bring him out a proper helmet (this one happens to be a full face helmet). All in all, 2 hours and a couple hundred bucks and the trio is back on the road. Several KM later, harley rider A collides with Harley rider B and wrecks at 100+kmph. Minor dammage to body but new full face shield helmet is scraped all to hell. The guy blames lack of peripheral vision due to the constraints of the helmet. Go figure.
Thats my usless post for the day!
