I got this from vrombc.com, alas Imperial tells me that Gaunter is now retired due to a stroke. I have done a search and CBRyan suggested a fellow in Surrey name Ernie, so we'll see. Other suggestions for guys are welcome. I suffer the same fate with my 2004 VFR as the below vrombc poster:The stock seat on my CBR 1000f was fine for a while after I bought the bike. Commuting and shorter rides were fairly comfy, but any of the longer weekend trips we were doing that had me in the saddle for 600-800 km's per day were purely ass numbing. I had seen a VFR 800 at Imperial with a beautifully done custom seat. They hooked me up with a guy named Gunther who did all their seat work. I was in to drop my seat off and Gunther came by to pick up two others. I told him what I wanted done and three days later I was riding from The Ridge to Ashcroft and back on a Friday with no problems. $125 CDN gets you a saddle that looks like any of the $450 aftermarket saddles. Most people can't tell it apart from a Corbin, and the shape, curves and height are custom made to your specs. Contact Imperial in Burnaby for info.
