Recently got my first speeding ticket in a very long time. Figured I was being clever by putting thru Whistler. Unfortunately the local constabulary interpreted my putting as "excessive speeding". Oh, well.
Last time I knew what was goin' on there were no fines for tickets. Once a year you paid the square of your points (if you had 6 or more). 2 tickets = 6 points = $36. Okay, bring on the Geritol jokes.
So ... how does the system work now? In particular, at what point do they start to give you a seriously good rogering?
