Here's another question about this used R1 I picked up. Bike runs great except for a little thing it does when I'm accelerating hard in 2nd (haven't really had a chance to open it up so much in 3rd or higher so could be unrelated to 2nd gear). When I hit the gas hard from 2nd and take it up to 9000-10000k something gives way. It's just a little blip of missed throttle as if the clutch is disengaging a little bit. It's just a fraction of a second but I can sure feel it. Happened a couple times going up to 10000k revs in one go.
Now, the guy who sold me the bike was upfront about the stuff that needed fixing and he even told me about this slipping problem. He thinks might be a sproket problem. Perhaps a worn or even busted tooth (probably in the front). My friend thinks it might be a clutch thing. I think it might be a gear thing.
What do you guys think.
