okay, so my i was eating sushi last night and the waitress told me my bike was on its side...the kick stand sank through the ashphalt and tore a huge hole in it as it fell. i dont know how long it was like that but when i got out there, but some anti-freeze was pooling. i didnt lose much, and it seems to have stopped now: should i be worried about that loss [cracked line or just overflow?]? it landed hard on the left side, the clutch lever is bent under the bars and i think the shifter crank and heel shield look quite bent in. tons of cosmetic damage too.
but when i started it, i have a sick rattle that wont go away. the irony is that i just got it out of holeshot that day after having a tensioner and gasket replaced. it sounds like the same sound, something to do with the cam timing chain and improper pressure to draw oil from the resevoir. any one had this experience? i cant get it fixed any time soon, but i need it to be ridable. any ideas what this sound could be comming from or any warning about a bent shift crank would be helpful...any temp fixes would be helpful. also, can U go after parking lots for this sort of thing? it was old ashphalt, shouldnt have done it...wasnt that hot on saturday. thanks
