2003 hayabusa with t61 turbo 501hp on LOW boost another 12psi to go. handles like a boat but man does it pull. 3.14hp out of our pit scooter. bottles are for babies go turbo!!!
Wow, that thing sounds wicked, sometimes straightline acceleration is more of a rush than dipping low into a corner.
No it's not.Originally Posted by Ruff-1

I know you can't compare knee dragging to drag racing but i'd imagine given the circumstances one can be a lot more enjoyable than the other depending on where you are and what bike your on. I'm sure it's a lot more fun to ride a 100 hp light weight bike in the twisties rather than taking it to the drag strip going up against a 500 hp machine that's built for straight line acceleration right? That's all i'm trying to say. One is just as good as the other.Originally Posted by J_Scott
Yes, and I'm sure it would. But I grew up in Manitoba, I've had my share of straights.Originally Posted by Extremeriderz

So is this thing coming out to this year's SBW event? It would be a shoe in winner for the Winner Take All dyno shoot out.
$500 bucks minimum winning pot up for grabs.
its tag is coming . ive got lights for it. but unfortunately im headed south to bonneville the same time sbw is on. bub exhaust is putting up $5000usd for the top time of the meet as well as $5000usd for the top open bike of the meet. last year in bad conditions a 218mph run took home $10000. i would love to spin the drum to 500 plus hp. its got the overdrive 5th and 6th gearset in the trans and will pull to 270mph at redline. im hoping for 250 on the salt. good luck with the dyno shootout. i will get up there someday!
the place that mapped this bike has a fleet of turbo busas. from a street turbo that makes 280hp to the dyno queen that made 701hp. arcane racing in great falls montana those guys know their stuff. unless you have special dynojet software the local dynos wont be able to read higher than 500hp. i rode this deal on the street with 400hp and it spins the tire hard in 6th gear from 100mph up. its insane.
Sick! Think of the power to weight ratio.
