For those who don't know, I recently purchased my first home (yee haw!) and it has a separate detached 25x20 shop. It's one of the primary reasons I chose this property.
Now, the previous owner had just started building it when his wife decided she wanted a second child which necessitated them buying a larger home.
Therefore, the shop is only partially completed: there's three walls and a fully finished roof, but there's no electrical yet and it hasn't been insulated/drywalled so far — nor does it have a garage door, but I'm currently saving for that.
I plan to run 240 power to the shop and can insulate/drywall it myself, but my question to you guys with shops at home is what else should I consider installing now when it's basically just a shell?
I have a welder, and am planning to purchase a table saw, mitre saw, drill press, etc. etc. I will build some work benches and places for my other tools as well.
What else should I install now? Bear in mind I don't think I'll be pulling engines or anything like that, but do plan to do a lot of home/auto repair out of this structure.
Your thoughts/suggestions and any advice will be gladly appreciated.
