Well, first long weekend with nothing to do but ride, I unfolded the map and plotted out my route, then found out the weather called for mostly rain, so I replotted and settled for a route with a chance of rain.
Day one took me over the ferry to Victoria, rode around Victoria, then worked my way to Port Renfew (raining off and on), went as far as gravel, then turned back and had lunch at the local pub. Back out to Victoria, then weaved my way gleefully over to Tofino (yes raining off and on). I spent the night in Tofino and enjoyed the local scene before the rain set in around 9:45PM.
Day two took me up radar hill for a few pics. then over to Uculet for a few more pics., then weaved my way over to Gold River till the road ran out. (raining off and on etc..) I turned around, had lunch in Campbell River, then caught the ferry over to Powell River where I spent a nice dry night.
Day three took me down the sunshine coast, the roads were dry, clean, and free from the local Mounties, so you can guess how that ride went . And of course back home.
Here's the link for the pics.
