Alas, the inevitable has happened. The burdens/needs of a young family has lead me to decide to get out of the sport or motorcycling.
This has nothing to do with risk or the dangers of riding. I realize now that I simply can't afford to pay for a bike that sits parked for most of its life. That money can be better spent on other things right now.
A sad decision for me to make, as I love my bike and I love to ride. But really it's not a difficult decision when compared to the needs of myself, my wife, and two daughters (nine and two-and-a-half). In the end I feel good about my decision.
So it's now all for sale: the bike, the gear, the special tools, the books. It's all here. C'mon people, baby needs a new pair of shoes
I hope to get back to motorcycling again, maybe in a few years. That new Triumph 675 triple is the bike I have been looking forward to for some time. Perhaps when I am ready to get back into the sport that Triumph will have all its "new model" bugs worked out of it Just in time for me
I'll still hang out on the site, but my riding days are pretty much over. For now...
(Goddamn lottery tickets never win for me neither!)
