woke this morning....pull the bike out from the garage....turn the fuel on ....and still nothing....needless to say i am pissed...after trying for 40 min..i gave up...thinking, since i burn off all the fuel in the fuel pipe yesterday...i need to let the bike site a bit and let the gravity do her work....so i left the bike in the sun, bathing for a while.....and taddaaaaa...it starts ...

i guess it's bikes way to tell me, to ride more often...and not to let her sit in the garage for too long.....lol

Yep. Tell you guys what... We can all take turns with the one that is sitting on MY dumbass trophy shelf.

Lupinz it sure sounds like it's time for a tuneup on that baby. Or you just need to learn how to use the choke properley. Since it sounds like you have not suffered through cold weather yet you need to learn the little mysteries of that bike in cold weather. Did it die when you tried to put the choke in too soon? Try starting on full choke, turn it in 1/3 after one minute, another third after a second minute and then ride away but go easy for a block or two then you can flip it in the rest of the way and ride normally. Or if you have to deal with crazy traffic right away then let it warm up for another minute or two at the 1/3 mark.

Modify the above as hinted by the bike coughing at you when it's not happy.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

Yup. I was riding my other Honda with the petcock on. Ran out of fuel and thought that was it. Walked quite a ways before realizing that it had a reserve! Wasted more than an hour on this little incident.
I have two Hondas. Can I breed them?
