So I'm doing a short research paper for a design class and have picked the Duc 748R as my subject. However I have to hit quite a few elements such as Logos, Ethos, Pathos, Exigence, Kairos... yada yada. Basically I need some audience information at this point.
I want to know: What made you look towards sportbikes? What initially drew you towards sportbiking? Are you middle aged and hit depression and needed a potent shot of youth to cope? Are you young, uninspired and felt it was a way to get away from the masses and be more individualistic? Is a sportbike a flamboyant way of saying 'f*ck you' to towards an overstifling society? Is the bike purely a cheap form of entertainment that was lacking in your life? This may be hard to understand, but what 'problem' or 'argument' was in your life that made you get a sportbike. Why was a sportbike the answer to that argument or problem?
Also what values does your sportbike encourage or discourage? Speeding and breaking traffic violations? Or maybe knowing you could but not doing it out of respect to others?
I know some of you will giggle and think its a bit much, but do try and seriously think about it. If you prefer you can PM me rather than post publicly on the forum. Thanks.
