So after parking my bike in various places, I found that right in front of the Cheese Factory on Engineering territory worked out the best.
Just last year they started construction on the new Fred Kaiser building, and all the bikes parking there got ticketed.
Now the rumour is that UBC tickets aren't a threat, just change your plates, and you're fine.
Surprise! I got a letter in the mail telling me to pay the tickets or they'll do a number of things:
a) impound my vehicle
b) deny registration/transcript/no grad diploma
c) late fees added ($30 --> $50)
d) parking permits revoked
e) account forwarded to a private collection agency
Anyone else have that happen before? I've never heard of them tracking people down!!
