I was asked to post this on behalf of Tom Crene of the Surrey Hospice.
I'm going to try and sum this up the best I can.
Ok, Surrey Hospice is having a "Barevement Day" on Tuesday November 15th (tomorrow). As part of all of this, they are releasing doves at 11am.
I don't know a whole lot about this but the Surrey Hospice Barevement Day tomorrow where they will be releasing doves. This year they are releasing them in memory of Corey (Xyban), my boyfriend of 6 years who was a member of this board. Corey was killed by a neglagent driver while he was out riding on June 24, 2002. This is also in memory of all of our other friends that have died in motorcycle accident.
They are also having a writing contest in Corey's memory open to all grade 11 students.
The topic is "How Can We Promote Motocycle Safety"
They will be discussing a bit about that as well.
Where: 19100 16th Avenue Surrey. Huckleberry Farm Garden Center.
For anyone that has been to our house, it's on the same property but over at our greenhouses.
If you need directions or have any questions, call me: 604-535-7294.
Doves fly at 11am. I belive that Corey's mom may release one. Not me as I'm a bit afraid of birds.(lol)
That is also a shopping day there for the Christmas Craft Fair where a percentage of the proceeds go to the Surrey Hospice.
That is all the information I was given. Not much notice, I totally forgot to post about it.
