I have a stock 99 gsxr with a ignition from XX? year, i wired the 600 wiring to the XX year ignition wiring(which has another extra red wire), i combined the two reds from the XX ignition and wired them to the single red from the 99 gsxr. I start the bike up and it runs fine, after about 5 minutes it blows its fuse. My guess is that its either shorting out somewhere or the 2 red wires i combined shouldn't be together and I should have just wired 1 to 1 red and taped off the extra red.
Its sorta complicated when i explain it like this. I think i'll figure it out soon, its just alot of you can help me.
