    Wicked Deal on skis!!!

    Anyone looking for some skis?
Sport Chek has Salomon Equipe 10 2V's with Salomon 914 binding for 100 bucks. They are a race ski with a big riser plate. Only downfall is you have to boots with a boot sole between 280 to 308 mm's. I bought a pair and damn they are nice if you can ski them!

Roughly what size boots would fit that?

And, being race skis, how would they be in the hands of intermediate skiers?

somewhere around a size 6 to 9 boot. May be able to fit a 10 on there but the mounting may be off a bit.
They aren't demo skis or bindings. They are race stock board that the Chek bought from Salomon Europe. Bought a couple of thousand pairs or something like that. The din on the binding start at 6 so you should be running at around a 9 all the time for consistent release.

If your a solid intermediate that is progressing they will give you plenty to grow into. You need a pretty solid stance cuz if you get into the back seat on these you'll be going for a real ride. That being said they are definitely a real carving ski that requires plenty of speed and firm snow. I've tried them and in the soft snow they tend to push because there stiff and the snow gives out on them. Hardpack would be awesome for them. All that being said, mouting them 0.5cm forward of centre would help most people turn them.

    BTW, which location has these?

Yeah the 2s is supposed to be the GS race ski. I'm not too sure about all the locations but I know that that the Guildford store has quite a few pairs left. 175's and 180's only.
