A World Wrestling Entertainment star was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE show.
Eduardo Gory Guerrero, 38, didn’t respond to a wake-up call Sunday morning, authorities said. His nephew, fellow WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found him.
There were no apparent signs of foul play, police said. An autopsy was planned to determine how Guerrero died.
His nephew said Guerrero was open about past drug and alcohol abuse but had been sober for four years. Guerrero was married and had three children.
“This is a huge loss,” said WWE chairman Vince McMahon. “Eddie was a wonderful, fun-loving human being. Eddie was a consummate performer.”
Guerrero was a featured star on the UPN series “WWE Smackdown!” and son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero. Last year, he became the second wrestler of Hispanic heritage to be WWE champion, though he lost the title four months later.
UPN also aired a special last year on his life, “Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story.” The program chronicled Guerrero’s childhood and his struggle with drug addiction that almost cost him his job, family and life.

if it was a heart attack it was probably from all the steriods he was taking...
old news, but ya it still sucks, he was for sure on roids, he was always big, but nowhere near as big as he's been recently
roids are good for you!!
they make u grow!!
dont you guys watch "street fighter " with van damme ?--"subjects muscle mass increased by 50%" LOL
that seems to be the case for a lot of wrestlers that come into the WWE. There used to be an Indo Canadian wrestler for a short while by the name of tiger Singh. His dad was a pro wrestler and the dad pulled him out of the WWE due to the pressure to do roids.

I keep my bottle of 'roids in my pants right were my testicles used to be.
Yea he was on roids, but whether or not that led to his demise remains to be seen.
theres a 99.9% chance thats what lead to his death, but theyll never say anything to tarnish his image, so thats why on TV he died from a heartattack.Yea he was on roids, but whether or not that led to his demise remains to be seen.
afterall rick james died of natural causes *cough cough* cocaines a hell of a drug.

so i guess his alcoholism and drug abuse pales in comparison to juice'n it. i've had family members die of prolonged drug abuse even though they had been clean for years. the damage done by hard drugs is irreversible and will shorten a normal person's lifespan no doubt. no one should be judged for mistakes made unless they never learnt the lesson to be taught.
That is actually one thing they were speculating, that his past drug abuse led to his sudden death.Originally Posted by ssblade

It is most likely one of the 2. He very well could of had an enlarged heart from the juice which triggered the heart attack. You gonna play by the sword your going to die by the sword.
just wanted to throw in here that *coincidentally* there'll be drug testing now in this "sport" ?
