NASMOTO Series info up (partially)
First three rounds seem to be confirmed. I would expect the additions of the green bay round and another event at Reno to end the season. What else is in store..... who knows?
I could be talked into a road trip for at least one of the California rounds. Long beach sounds like fun. They'll probably have all the urbancross jumps for that round, but I'm not sure if they'd run them at Sears Point. The street course just sounds more fun than a track to me.
The infinion race is a Nor Cal Supermoto USA race, not a nasmoto event.
Not that it makes much difference. Still should be a great event.
Strange that it's listed under the NASMOTO schedule then.
What's infineon like, worth the trip? I can go to one or the other in may, which would you pick?
It's hard to say in a public forum why... Let's just say it's a matter of interpretation.
I've never been that track, but everybody said it was excellent.
Keep in mind that nasmoto doesn't use the urban cross stuff, only ama pro does at this point.
At reno this year they used the big over under jump on the nasmoto day and replaced what every body would think of as the urban cross section with a hairy pavement jump. It's not the jump itself that was hairy, it was the placement. It was too fast and in the wrong spot (rider ended up in the crowd and a spectator got hurt).
