    snag encountered during shock swap

me again. i have 2002 sv650 with a 99GSXR shock to be put in. The killswitch bracket on the kickstand (welded onto the kickstand) is getting in the way of the shock linkage due to the longer length of the GSXR shock. I noticed nobody has mentioned anything about that in their write ups so was wondering if there was any way of fixing this problem, other than grinding down the bracket. Or can direct me to a previous posting about this as i could not find

    Thanks
    Jeff

OMG... im the dumbest guy ever!!!.... never mind.... haha. i forgot i had wood blocks under the tire when i had the shock off to prevent the linkage from resting on the frame because i still have the wheel on and didnt want that heavy load resting there...
