I have a question about what pace to implement when increasing my distance for sprints. Currently, I jog 100 metres, then sprint full-out another 100, and so on.
When looking to increase my distance, at what rate is a good benchmark?
Sprint an additional 100 metres a week, based on one sprint/jog training session per week?
(My regular routine now includes one day of hill training, one day of sprints/jogging, one day of running 2.6 kilometres as fast as I can, and one long run of eight to 10 kilometres.)
Any advice, tips and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
