I have a small little compressor I've been using for about a year for my airbrush.
The feeler valve broke, and I managed to find a piece of metal to replace it. However, the metal was infintessimally thicker than the piece that broke. The compressor works fine - for about five minutes.
Then, even with a moisture filter on my line, the motor heats up so much that water begins flowing into my work, destroying the paint job.
Is there any way to repair this problem, or am I SOL? Bear in mind, it's not a huge loss because I got this compressor for $25 off a guy. I would just like to get it running properly again.
