Heres my problem
its time for a new chain and sprocket.
I'm wondering if I should go OEM or go aftermarket and get a race chain and different toothed sprockets.
can anyone explain to me how the sprocket/race chain gear ratio works, i have a basic grasp from what i read on the net. I was thinking of going -1 on the front and +1 on the back, with a 520 chain, for quicker accleration.
what does a 520 chain do and whats the difference from oem? my buddy said i should go oem front sprocket and get a +1 and +2 gear and interchange them for my style of riding. would i need a different numbered chain if i did that?
any help/explaining would be awesome!
