Ever since last season when I replaced the cracked oil pan on my bike there has been a slow drip from around the plug/bolt in the pan. The plug I put in there was the same plug used on the stock pan, and I'm pretty sure the new pan I ordered was built like the OEM pan. Anyways, I have recieved a suggestion to take the bolt out on my next oilchange and putting a copper washer between the plug and the pan, amoung other things, but I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience, or a suggestion to solving this problem. Usually after riding, the bike can drip a 2 inch by 2 inch puddle, and although it's not a big deal to keep topping up once and awhile, I love animals so damn much I can't stand to see a seal get caught in my oil slick. Thanks, Chris.
