I'm looking at a used 1984 Honda VF750f bike with "low kms."
I've been reading numerous articles about how these bikes (the 1st generation V-fours) had oiling issues which led to cams pitting and wasting away.
Has anybody got any personal experience with this?
This was officially recalled by Honda back in the day, for about 5 years, but then they stopped. How can I go about finding whether this bike has--or is going to have--major cam issues?
...or is it just something to be avoided altogether?
Thanks for anything you can suggest or add!
