WHO WAS IT?
WHO WAS IT?
Hopefully they are both O.K. even though one was apparantly flown out by helicopter. Was it someone from the posted ride. Hopefully it wasn`t a testosterone thing which usually occures with such a big group.
Here is the link to an existing post regarding this accident.
Ride in peace my friends...
Being a road crayon sucks....put your gear between you and the pavement.
WTD: Hot girls with low morals. Own transportation a plus. Sufferers of yellow fever considered first. PM/email me for details.

testosterone it was one the Brittania. I was following the guy who crashed. This came as no surprise to me He was a new rider that apparently joined us at the gas station. He was concerned with the paste as he was not sure if he can handle it. I guess on the road testosterone took over…. What a shame.
He came with-in inches of crashing a few time before... He was passing everyone and riding recklessly... Went in to a corner, got scared 3/4 way though, hit the brakes and all I saw is the bike flying in the air.
The rider is ok... both broken arms and a few other bones. Passenger lost one of her legs. They put it on ice an air-lifted her.
On the same spot another rider crashed because he most likely target-fixated on all the parked bikes. But it was a very, very minor incident and didn't make the main news. He is 100% ok and bike just suffered a few scrapes.
Rider in Pemberton was a BMW rider. The tail is, he passed a motor-home, hit a bump, went in to a ditch and died.
Don't know what happen to the guy on the F4i.
The rest of the ride was slow but on the way bake from Pemberton many ppl went crazy again, to many double yellow passes... when will they learn?
Anyway.. maybe I should go and sell my bike now and get a hummer.
exactly why i hate riding in huge groups. glad i didn't go.
damn..... we saw you guys on the highway too.
with that big a group and being all stopped at the same spot you know it was gonna turn into a freak show somehow.
im gonna stay away from squamish for a while... cops are gonna be out in force in the mornings now
Igor, so let me get this straight, there were 4 accidents today? One fatal?
The fatality is not yet confirmed. I left the scene after some people with first aid experience arrived. At that time the rider was not breathing, had no detectable pulse, and his face and hands were blue. Approximately 15mins earlier he had apparently been moaning, so hopefully they were able to revive him, but it didn't look good.....
At the gas station the guy that argued with you said that the rider died.
I sure hope not... but...ACK...Sorry the rides didn't turn out so well....
There is a reason why every one asks new riders to be at the back. It is NOT a shame to be last. This is not a race. If you wanna proove yourself go to the Mission raceway. I've never heard anyone talking down to any of the slower rider. The only time anybody is getting pissed of is when newbies try to show off for no reason and ruin the day for every one
Anyway, enough of this shit.
I hope I can sleep : Seeing that bike with ppl flipping in the air is not what I call fun.
-Good night every one.
i really feel for the passenger.... deeply sorry..... i would rather die than lose a leg.... i wouldn't suggest going on huge group rides anymore.... there's always someone that'll fuck up the ride...
I hung out in the back of the pack as I am a newbie...only Pam was behind me as she prefers to ride last at her own pace...I waved another rider by as I was falling back from the pack I was in at the very next passing zone...I feel for the passenger as well...four crashes w/one fatality...I just got my license last month and my bike at the beginning of the month...makes me wonder if I should stick to being a cager???
I am quite shaken by this news.
Having riddin passenger in the past a lot myself
this hits very close to home...
the passenger is the innocent one.
I dont care what you may think- the passenger 95% of
the time has no idea of the dangers.
I am living proof of it- I used to ride around with a jean
jacket- and a helmet...thats it-
until I got my liscense and understood the dangers...then
began to wear proper gear.
I really hope they are able to fix her leg....
I am honestly saddened greatly by this...
you'd figure in this day and age, ppl would have more sense. especially with a passenger.
i have ridden with good riders, even then i stay back. you must leave room for unforeseen dangers and stupidity.
i hope they can fix her leg.
