    Hey guys,

Can any of you help me. I have a 98 zx7r and I am trying to find a cheap way to get aftermarket exhaust until i can afford the real thing.

I found some cheap muzzy headers and mid pipe, and there are quite a few cheap cans around. My question is if I get a can made for a zx7r, i know it will fit with the stock headers and mid pipe but will it fit with the muzzy headers and midpipe. I'm looking at Art, D&D and Yosh for cans.

NO way to tell without measuring the various pipes. If you've got the headers then measure the diameter of the end and go shopping for a can with tape measure in hand. Smaller won't work but larger is OK as long as you can bush the extra room with something that won't burn. A suitable thickess of tubing and use two split C's cut to fit as a bushing comes to mind.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.
