...people think they got it bad here. I'd like to see the Richmond drivers last more then a minute in India!
haha Any traffic regulations would really screw up that flow.Originally Posted by beanz

hahaha... dude, that was light & mellow traffic for India.
you should see it when it picks up
nobody gets out alive
OMFG, that's nuts. What's with the overgrown black and yellow golf carts everybody drives there??
Who needs traffic lights when vehicles are equiped with perfectly good horns
That's not even rush hour, an experienced Indian rider could handle that with a coconut in one hand, shiva statuette in the other and 8 kids hanging off the scooter.
Riding in 3rd world countries is the shite. It really tests your abilities and it makes your heart thump on occasion. Besides, the speeds are normally low, so when you do bail it's not much damage.
that's a frikin sick pic psyclone!
what i do see is traffic MOVING!
Yes, there are collisions, but there is no big knot of traffic at a standstill, behind a left turner that's stopped, with a bunch of drivers no more aware of what's outside their cell phones, PDA's or loud stereos, blocking the road, or lane the left turn wants to get into. Traffic moves, slowly, but it's moving.
Apparently, North Americans prefer gridlock, and throwing up a traffic signal every place a person who can't move his neck to the left walks in front of a moving vehicle....
On a happy note, weather was perfect in the N Okanagan for riding this weekend. The roads are mostly free of winter grit, there's some new asphalt to scratch around on, enough winter damage to make lane control an asset, and it's at least 3 weeks before TDS.
(tourist driving season)
Psylcone, I deleted your post to get rid of that picture. It's a bit too graphic IMO.
For those that are wondering imagine when you squash a bug.... now imagine it was a person you squashed... Then add on the comment "but accidents do happen"
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.
