Ok, heres my situation:
My girlFriend bought a Jeep Cherokee from a small car dealer.. We have had it for a month now and are getting completely f#cked.
When we bought the Vehicle, I asked about the 4x4 and the water pump. He said the water pump had been recently replaced and the 4x4 works fine.
3 days after we had it, we went to use the 4x4. shifted into 4x4 fine, would not shift out. what ever, we had it checked out. tranny mount was shot causing the tranny to shift and not allowing it to shift out. costed us 50$ to temp fix it, then 330$ to get the mount replaced. I figure no biggy, its an older vehicle, sh*t happens. 3 weeks later, the thing over heats and pops a heater valve.. So I replace it, do the work myself, another 80$ down the drain. But now its over heating.. We take it in and have it checked out, sure enough, water pumps shot. bill = 340$ to replace. damnit, now its getting hard on the wallet. While we had the Jeep in the shop, we asked them to look over it as we were planning a trip to Edmonton. Comes back with 2100$ worth of stuff that need repair. 800$ (rear brakes completely shot) of that makes the thing un-road worthy. I call the guy asking for reimbursment just for the brakes.. He says he will have his mechanic do it, but I know its gonna be a shit job, or he offered me 200$ cash and I can go else where...
Heres the kicker, the contract that we signed for it stats "no warranty implied or expressed whatsoever"
What do you think we should do?
Do I have any legal action I can take?
