    Anodizing Colour

I have herd of people anodizing bike parts many different colours but i have only ever seen one type of blue anodizing which is that baby blue sort of colour

Now what i am wondering is if anodizing only has a few set colours like red and blue but only those shades of red and blue. Or if it is like painting and you can get any colour in the spectrum by mixing? I am looking for a darker blue like a visor
    Thanks Frapps

It's done with fabric dye. There's no way of knowing how it will turn out until you try and it will take to different alloys and parts differently sometimes.
