Have u thougt of just changing the motor, u could pick 1 up at used part shop. It would cost around the same as having the work done on ur present motor. But Imperial cycle does very good work if u get the valves done.
What needs to be 'done' to the valves? If it's just an adjustment...everyone here seems to love the service they get at Bomax and Derek King Racing. Haven't been to either myself.
I agree with Jumby, I'm not disagreeing with Slugo, the mechanics at Imperial are some of the best in town. It's just when you start adding up the cost of parts and a head gasket alone can set you back a C note, it's well worth finding a good used motor.
And in your case, why not go for a 750 motor, it's a direct bolt in, you might have to change the carbs, I can't remeber, but you can't go wrong with more cc's.
Thnx. I took it to DKR, and he set me up, did a great job, runs smooooth.
