We is looking for a portable barbecue. Something that we can take camping (the kind of camping where you roll up in the car, pitch the tent, and hang out for a couple of nights) and that we can also use for cooking on the patio at home.
Canadian Tire has two portable units that seem identical except for what their made of.
Can someone explain the difference between steel and aluminum? I assume aluminum is better somehow...
Any other ideas/recommendations? Price is a factor. The next more expensive portable model is $140. It looks nice, but I'm not sure is worth the extra money. (And really we are looking to pay rockbottom price until we know that this is something that we will be using regularly.)
Is there somewhere better than Canadian Tire to buy these things?
BTW, gas/propane is what we think is best; briquettes would be nice for flavour, but I don't think our landlord/neighbours would appreciate it. Plus then you have to dispose of the briquettes.
