I think of all the times after a long 800-900km bug infested ride that I have spent either (1) pulling out the green scrub pad and a bucket of soapy water, or (2) using my power washer on my leathers to get them clean.
For a couple of years now I have been encouraged to "Just chuck your leathers in the washing machine, you'll be amazed".
I AM F*CKING AMAZED!!!! My leathers have never looked this good since the day I bought them.
Now, I have one of those fancy Euro front load machines that uses like a litre of water per load and a tablespoon of soap. Set it a heavy load and about 140 Farenheit. Hang dry in my utility room where my furnace is. If you have a top load, apparently all you need to do is throw a towel down first then your leathers on top.
Thanks Cosworth, you've now converted myself as well as Brad.
I am Spring Fresh again!
