Searched for personal testimonies/experiences related to the Pilot Roads (Michelin) and Roadtec Z6 (Metzeler) but came out blank..
Any comments or opinions on these? I've narrowed my decision between the Pilot Roads, Powers or Metzeler's Roadtec Z6 for an 01' SV650S. I have the stock MEZ 4 but not overly sold on getting them again. They aren't bad but aren't great either. Since this would be my first tire swap, maybe I just don't know the difference between a good or bad tire. So I'm not sure if it's just the model or the entire brand that makes me even wary about going with Metzeler, although I've heard that they're are worst brands/models out there.
Most riding is done on street but mainly back road/highway Island riding with the occassional blitz down the S2S when on the Lower Mainland during the summer. Like everyone else, I'm looking for something that's great for all weather (particularly in the rain) and warm up quick with amzing stick.
It seems as though most have positive things to say about the Pilot Powers, but are the Pilot Roads just as good or even comparable? Given the description on their website the Pilot Roads seem to suit more of my riding needs but I'm also still not counting out the Powers..
Thanks in advance for any insight..
