There is no place that I could find on the North Shore to recycle my old coolant. I flushed the rad on my van and changed the coolant then found out I couldn't get rid of the old stuff.
First I went to crappy tire and they don't take it any more. They told me to go to the transfer station on riverside. Go to riverside they say they don't take it and to try crappy tire I told them crappy sent me here. They then tell me to try a rad shop. I'm thinking ya right why would they take it. So I drive on down to a couple of rad shops and they say they don't take it. I get on the net and find the phone number of recycle bc or whatever it is and they tell me to take it to crappy tire or a rad shop. I tell them they don't take it and they say I'm sol. WTF am I supposed to do with it, mix it with my cornflakes?
Why am I paying enviromental fees on everything if there is no place to take this stuff. How many liters of anitfreeze is sold each year and where does it go.
I finally dropped it off at a closed rad shop hoping that it gets disposed of properly.
