Hi everyone...I am a newbie of this forum, and totally brand new to riding. Nice to meet you everyone
I am currently taking the Riding school and did my 1st lot training class yesterday. OMG it's so much harder than I expected, and the bike is so much heavier. 1st thing I needed to do, before the class started, the instructor asked me to push the bike to the lot across the road. I pushed and pushed, it was heavy, but I kind of got a hand of it... then there's a little uphill entrance to the lot... when I am @ the midway through the entrance... the bike was just too heavy that i no longer to push it, then... it dropped!!! It was super embrancing!! I felt very stupid
I was hoping that I could gain my confident through the traing, but... as the class went on, it didn't happen. In fact, every excerice took me much more time to get a hand on than for everyone else in class. I fell behind and behind... plus, with my poor English listening skill, I was always not sure exactly what the instructor asked us to do, making me always feel like "not sure if I am doing it right".
I really want to learn riding, but I am not sure if it's a sport for me anymore. I can't even have the power to push the bike. How can someone ride a bike without being able to push it? However, I am not giving it up yet, I am going to try and try until I feel it's impossible...
Anyway, here's my little story of learning to ride. Wondering if there's any other gals had similar experiences @ the beginning but now riding successfully? How did you gals accompish it?
