for you computer guys, im looking to get a new computer in about a month or so. now keep in mind i live in sask so i've narrowed it down to these two computers at futureshop.
i use to put my own computers together, but the last time i did that when the P3 550 E came out along with the geforce cards... since than, i dont know anything anymore!
HP AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 2.0GHz Computer
for some reason, i cant find the exact computer. but this is as close as it comes to, the only difference is the one instore has built in 128mb ATI graphics card.
computer # 2 is the exact same with a bit smaller hard drive. 150 or 200gb (forget the exact amount), same ATI graphic card but also a single processor amd 64, also 3800+
my question is, is it worth getting the dual processor which works out to be $150 more (instore rebate) or just getting the single processor.
i will be using programs like photoshop and doing a fair bit of multi tasking and will also get into more pc demanding games.
i will also upgrade the video and sound card, since they are both on board.
