I don't post much... usually just kinda lurk, and I do a good job at that.
I'm looking to pick up a Tard soon without breaking the bank. One has come through my 'office' here that is intriguing. Its a 1990 DR350. Kickstart, with a full lighting kit including headlight, horn, signals, brakelights (for front and rear brakes). Cost is a little over $2G.
First, are there wheels/rotor that will fit this pig?
Second, if there are, is this even a smart idea? I'd like something reliable, and I'd prefer to wait around ofr a DRZ400SM if I can find one. Is the older 350 going to be horribly underpowered? I just want it for street use really, but I will need to blast on the highway now and again.
I'm only considering this because I've heard the reputation for the DR 350... and its stellar. Bullet proof motor, bunch of guys drove them around the world apparently. That intrigues me.
Thanks for the input
