Yep, went down to Hanigan Speedway tonight and ran the Husky as well as the new/used XR100.
I had a total blast riding this way. It's a whole new feeling having the bike kicking around under you but a helluva confidence builder when you find yourself doing it without sliding to oblivion and even starting to enjoy it.
I only entered one class per bike so I didn't get a super big amount of track time but I'm going to go back for more and get in two classes for the Husky and one for the mini TT stuff.
Not to mention that this has GOT to be a great way to get in some SM practice towards doing the dirt sections on any sort of dirt and pavement combo courses.
A couple of the guys that ride there and hang out at SMJ were nice enough to donate a set of shagged out Avon rains in order to "infect" me with FlatTrack'itis. It worked... The rains stuck great, had a lot of feel and provided a big confidence build for me. Mind you the track was so hardpacked that slicks would have been fine.
