F440 Kart track welcomes Motards
Negotiations are still underway but, Motard future at the Tsawwassen Karting looks promissing.
We have had one good day out there so far, and looks like there may be many more to come. With the onset of the styfiling noise bylaws, motorcycle events have been pushed to the outer most regions of the lower mainland. The location of the F440 track has presented a rare and golden opertunity for the motorcycle community. We should keep our fingers crossed, but we have yet to run into the regular restrictions as of yet.
We would like to welcome bikes of all size and varity but, if you have ever been to the track you will know that a sportbike would hate the layout. Simply the track is far to tight for bigger bikes. YSR, Mini-Motard, 50s, they would all work, and are more than welcome.
If you guys want some control and say in what and how we can shape the F440 track, then it's in all of our best interest to sign up for a membership.
Right now we need to know how many people are serious about riding this track and getting them to let us put a dirt section in. The only way we will be able to persuade these guys is to show them we have a significant amount of riders who are willing to buck up for a 15 visit membership at $250 a pop.
If we cannot show the numbers then I wouldn't blame them if they aren't interested either. We do have a pretty good chance here to get something close enough to home that could be a lot of fun. If you're gonna ride a Motard, you gotta ride some dirt and do some jumps, even if they are small jumps.
All those in support of the F440 need to PM Sliver http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/pr...do=newpm&u=224 and let her know so we can present the numbers to the owners at the F 440 track before the morning of Saturday July 1st. This is when the owners will have their discussion on our dirt section. We will need at least 15 signees to dent the argument.
