Breakfast at the Airpark
UPDATE: July Breakfast will be Saturday July 1st along with our Annual Fly-In.
A few people wanted me to post a reminder once the weather improved again, so here it is:
When: On the second sunday of every month there is a pancake breakfast at Delta Heritage Airpark. All are welcome, not just pilots... Many of the pilots ride bikes too. $4 gets you a bottomless coffee, orange juice, two large pancakes, one egg, and two slices of ham. Every second month i'm one of the chefs, but I won't say which month...
Where: At the foot of 104th street in Delta, about 3 miles due east of Boundary Bay airport (where many of you took the BCSC course). Drive down 104th street right to the end, and turn right into the parking lot once you pass the Lockheed Lodestar on the right. If you're paranoid about parking in a lot with cars, motorcycles can come to the front of the parking lot, through the gap at the right side of the chain, and park in the open area next to the Coffee Shop/Pilot's Briefing Room (but not on the concrete patio please). There's usually two or three bikes there so feel free to join them. A Goldwing frequently drives through the gap, so you should have no problems (you'll understand when you see it).
Note: The parking lot is gravel. But you all know how to ride on gravel, right?
There's usually a good number of airplanes flying in on nice-weather days, so if you like planes it's a good place to watch them.

Ohh, I saw this too late....

Well, there will be a pancake breakfast in August, on the Second Sunday, but the next fly-in won't be until next July. If the weather is half as good in August as it was yesterday, you should still see a lot of airplanes out there.
