Well I did it. 6134kms from Kits. beach, Vancouver to Lawrencetown beach, Halifax. What an amazing ride. It took me two and a half weeks with 5 days in Montreal for the F1 Grand Prix (Go Schumi ).
BC and Alberta were beautiful and it was my first time through Banff and Lake Louis. The rockies had the best scenery for sure. The prairies were long and flat. I had a huge cross wind through most of Sask. and Manitoba which made for very exhausting riding. I felt pretty beat up by the time I hit the Ontario border, and slowed down to about 5 hrs (from about 8hrs) a day riding.
Even though I was pretty beat by the time i got to Montreal, I couldn't help going for a ride down St. Cathrine Street to see all the hot cars, fast bikes, and beautiful women that come out to play on a grand prix weekend! What a party!
The first stop on the east coast was a beach called Lawrencetown (where i learned to surf as a kid). Once I was there I sat on the beach with a true sense of accomplishment. What a ride!
I will try to post some pics soon.
