Surrey: At approximately 10:20 AM RCMP were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on King George Highway at 160th street. A 28 year-old female traveling southbound on King George Hwy in a Honda Civic went to make a left hand turn onto 160th and collided with a BMW Motorcycle that was traveling northbound on King George. The 69 year-old male motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and sustained head trauma. He was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. The incident is being investigated by the Surrey RCMP Traffic Services section. No word yet on whether any charges will be laid.

MAJOR WARING TO SURREY RIDERS!! it seems like all the crazies are in surrey! i've read 3 stories about people hitting motorcyclists, cyclists and even one where someone drove into a tree for no aparent reason...(all stories were within the last 7 days) Just crazy out there Please ride defensively!
