    Car Culture: Sideshows

Is this already happening in the Lower Mainland or is the media making something out of nothing? It just sounds like more hype for something that has always been around.

Sideshow participants burn their tires, spin donuts or "ghost ride the whip," where a driver exits a slow-moving vehicle and dances alongside the car or on its hood as the car coasts along, its driver's seat empty. The gatherings can draw more than 100 people.

Video link. (Kinda reminds me of motorcycle stunts... but with cars.)

Another reason that the USA looks like the land of idiots. What is cool about that?

I'm sure Richmond/Surrey and the like will be doing this in week or so. Monkey see monkey do! Sad!!!
