I'm planning a trip to Kelowna. My girlfriend and our friends will be driving up late friday night but I'm going to go early and get a camp site. There are 25% still available on a first come-first served basis.
I'm planning on leaving at 5am on Friday morning. I am thinking about the following route:
Vancouver to Whistler (125 kms - 1.5 hours)
Whistler to Pemberton (35 kms - 0.5 hours)
Pemberton to Lillooet (100 kms - 1.5 hours)
Lillooet to Cache Creek (90kms - 1.5 hours)
Cache Creek to Logan Lake (50 kms - 0.5 hours)
Logan Lake to Kelowna (200 kms - 2.5 hours)
600 kms - 8 hours of riding
I think it will take me about 10 hours in total including gas and rest stops.
Anyone done this route before? Any advice? Do my times seem accurate?
If this route ends up too long, I might end up just heading east from vancouver and take the boring but quick ride to kelowna. Remember, the original point was to get a campsite. haha
Anyone wanna join me?
