Take Hwy. 1 to Sumas border exit. Head south. Cross border. Follow signs. Done!

Did the ride for the first time on Saturday. The roads are great and the signs are good. After you cross the border you should check your gas since there aren't any stations on top of the mountain. You'll travel about 100 kms before you return to a gas station.

Only bit of real advice I can give is that when you get to the parking area on top, there's nothing to do except turn around and ride back. But if you take some hiking shoes, you can take a stroll along the paths and be with nature for a while.

I found the speed signs to be pretty good. You'll be able to ascertain the radius ahead by these, though you should consider my suggested speeds only by your own level of buffoonery.

    15mph sign = switchback.
20 mph sign = corner. Slow down to 50 mph
35 mph sign = curve. Slow down to 70 mph

    I wish.
Keep in mind cell phones don't work there - there are no pay-phones, and it's a freakin' park not a resort.

I lost my keys up there in January.. oh.. the horror.. on the mountain of all places. They turned up thank god, but jezus.. trying to arrange stuff near dusk at 5pm was a nightmare.

But all I was thinking on my way up was omg this road would be insanely fun on a bike.
