    Question Coolant Filter?

Well the time has come for my baby to hibernate. I was just going thru the manual to see what is required for winterizing the bike this time around aside from the usual stuff. In the servicing section it says to "clean the coolant filter." I have never heard of such a thing before, does it even exist? It doesn't give any details in the manual as to what it looks like or where to find it, only to have this service performed by an authorized kawi tech. Any help would be great. Thanks.
    Ride long and prosper.

Yes, it is recommended that the coolant filter leading to the carbs is checked and cleaned at every service on any of the ZX range of bikes, and may never have been. Supposedly, there's an upgrade to the carb heating kit, bringing it up to 2000 US model spec which apparently kills the carb-icing problem completely. You should contact your dealer for the full details.
