    suomy lid question

    came home last night to find 1 of my shield cover missing does anybody where i can order that piece and also if this happens alot with suomy lids.

    fak now i dont want to wear it...need to find that piece or buy a new lid!!

    i have a 3 year old spec1r biaggi...i hope they can still order parts for older models...i love this helmet

    I'm on my second Suomy lid, and I have never had them pop off (except when it slammed against a concrete wall (RIP Spec-1R). I have the Extreme now though and not had a problem.

    Just make sure you hear the 'click' when you pop them back on. With that said, a buddy of mine never puts them on because he finds them to be a pain in the ass. Once again, a visor change is no problem for me. Takes about 30 seconds total.

    fawk! my luck just keeps getting worst! dropped my lid last night at a gas station n broke the piece that holds the shield in place it can still be worn and im pretty sure once i put the side cover on it will hold it good.

    nah! im wearing my spare/passanger helmet a crappy hjc raven ( no offense ) its just when you ride in a ferrari you dont to go back driving your little honda
